About The Event
Our Nation's First Ladies will be presented by Barbara Kincaid, Fashion and Social Historian. Barbara gives her audience a glimpse of the many well-known and not-so-well-known ladies who came to the White House, not elected but drafted, to accept the position of First Lady, with poignant stories about these unique individuals. Some were eager to meet the challenge, and others were hesitant to be in the spotlight. Barbara's attendance at the White House, as an invited guest, adds dimension to the presentation as she shares personal encounters of that event.
Admission is $20.00 per person. Wear a hat if you like. Prizes will be given for prettiest hat and most original hat. Raffle tickets will be sold for chances to win additional prizes.
